Supreme Novices Hurdle - Key Races

The Deloitte Nivices Hurdle run at Leopardstown on Irish Hennessy day and the Royal Bond Novices Hurdle over 2 miles at Fariyhouse in December have given the most clues in recent years with Like A Butterfly winning both before landing the Supreme Novices.

2007 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle

The 2007 Royal Bond was won by Muirhead with Cork All Star 1.75 lengths behind.

2007 Deloitte Bovice Hurdle

Cork All Star was also runner up in the Deloite, 1.25 lengths behind Forpadydeplasterer.

A shock start to the meeting in 2007 with a 40/1 winner although as he was trained by Willie Mullins a few punters might have had a wonderful start. The favourite Amaretto Rose looked to be going very well throughout race but just didn't find as much as expected over the last hurdle.
