World Hurdle Tips Based on Past Trends
Individually, the following tips aren't particularly surprising but there won't be too many runners who tick all the boxes in this years World Hurdle.
18 of the last 19 winners of the stayers hurdle have been aged between six and eight years old.
The last eight winners had all finished first or second on their most recent run.
The last eight winners have all started at 8/1 or less
Eleven of the last twelve winners had previously finished 1st or 2nd in a grade one hurdle.
Nine of the last twelve winners had previously been placed at the Cheltenham Festival.
Shocks have been rare since Anzum's 40/1 upset in 1999 so it may be best to concentrate on horses just behind the market leader.
