Champion Chase tips - Tricky for the reigning champ?

The last horse to retain his title in the Champion Chase was Viking Flagship in 1995, although Moscow Flyer did win the race twice in 2003 and 2005. It's obviously not a race to where its easy to keep hold of your title? Not a good omen for current champ Master Minded.

Shocks are not commonplace in the Champion Chase with the winner usually coming from under 10/1 in the betting and having form at distances in excess of 2 miles.

Champion Chase tips - Our tips for 2009 will be available nearer to the race in March.
