Because this race has only been run twice its a little early to be focusing too closely on trends for this race but its worth noting that both winners so far were:This looks the type of race where clear patterns and trends will evolve so its well worth keeping an eye on the type of horses that are mentioned in connection with this race.
Watch out for any Alan King horses who may be aimed at this race. King was assistant trained to David Nicholson for many years and has made no secret of his desire to win this race and has so far had a fifth and a fourth in the race. Look for him to get even closer in 2010.
At the time of writing, there still appears question marks against the two market-leaders here who have both suffered injuries that have kept them off the track. In light of that, it might well be worth taking a chance on Easter Legend .
Trained by Emma Lavelle, this mare has proven stamina, experience at Cheltenham and may have the scope to improve past some ordinary rivals if the two favourites fail to fire.
Currently a 20/1 chance in some places Easter legend looks an each-way bet in the last race on the first day of the Festival.
