Leading Trainer Award Cheltenham Festival

Last years festival top trainer was Nicky Henderson with a record 7 winners. The previous record for winners at a festival was held by Paul Nicholls.



Willie Mullins won with four winners in 2011, including the Champion Hurdle. In 2010 Nicky Henderson triumphed with a total of three winners. Henderson has now topped the Cheltenham Festival trainers table 10 ten times.



Paul Nicholls won the Cheltenham trainers title for four consecutive years from 2006-2009 inclusive.

So the three trainers who are still dominating the top class National Hunt races have shared the Festival trainer award for the last 7 years.
