Albert Bartlett Novices Hurdle Analysis

This looks like a race where some good trends are developing and applying the five stats from our list above will surely narrow down the prospective winners.

There will be a tendency for trainers to run horses here who are seen has having a big future over fences but that does not necessarily mean they will have what is required to be competitive in this race. In other words, the horses with a realistic chance are few given the size of the field. The market then provides quite an accurate guide with only one occasion where the race fell to an outsider and in that case there had been a major change in the going during the day.

In short, we are looking for a well fancied six or seven- year-old with good form in high class company.

Albert Bartlett Preview and Tips

Although only seven years old this race has already produced horses who have gone on to be at least as good over fences with the likes of Over The Creek, Gone To Lunch, Siegemaster all doing well and 2007 winner Wichita Lineman returning in 2009 to win the William Hill HCap Chase and 2009 winner Weapons Amnesty going on to RSA glory the following year.

Paul Nicholls has hit the crossbar in this event in recent years with placings for Najaf, Pride Of Dulcote and Thisthatandtother.

Willie Mulins has also come close to victory here with Black Harry and The Midnight Club and his representatives should also be respected.

The above two trainers look sure to supply a winner of this race in the near future.
